The establishment of the Afternoon Shift at Islamabad Convent School, H-8/4 Campus, was a visionary initiative of His Excellency Archbishop Dr. Joseph Arshad, in response to the school’s growing popularity and increasing demand for quality education, with the aim of expanding educational opportunities up to college level.
The plan was finalized in 2023 in consultation with His Excellency Archbishop Dr. Joseph Arshad and implemented under the leadership of Mr. Snawer Gill, General Secretary, Diocesan Board of Education (DBE), in collaboration with Sr. M. Parveen Lal O.P Principal (Principal Morning), and recommended Mr. Sarfraz Shahid as Principal of Afternoon Shift, who was serving as in morning shift as a Senior Coordinator, with over 24 years of teaching and administrative experience. Few experienced administrative staff were also selected to serve both shifts.
Through dedicated planning, teamwork, and administrative commitment, the vision became a reality when the Afternoon Shift officially commenced in April 2024, marking a significant milestone in the school’s history.
The establishment of the Afternoon Shift reflects the collective commitment of the Catholic Church leadership, DBE, school administration, and staff to educational excellence, service, and the continued development of students through college level.
